The "Lost" Library of Paris

Princeton and its Center for Digital Humanities has worked to “recreate the world of the Lost Generation in interwar Paris.” The group that included Joyce, Stein, Benjamin, and Hemingway all darkened the doorway at the Shakespeare and Company lending library.

Below is Walter Benjamin’s library card and a Shakespeare pulling out his hair.

I also thought it might be cool to map all the notable book borrowers whereabouts in ArcGIS. Although, the banner image on this analysis page of the SCP website makes me think that they might be up to the same.
